Shibu Onsen Kokuya

Shibu Onsen Kokuya features ten rooms with en suite open-air baths, including the special room 'Kuon,' designed to offer an unforgettable experience. All rooms have modern amenities such as a refrigerator, safe, and Wi-Fi, ensuring convenience for guests.

Three restaurants-Choseian, Yawaragi, and a banquet hall-serve dishes highlighting ingredients from the Shinshu region. Seasonal kaiseki cuisine is prepared especially for the Kuon room experience.

Shibu Onsen Kokuya offers various hot spring baths, including a hinoki wooden open-air bath and a Finnish sauna, all available 24 hours. The area is well-known for unique seasonal activities, such as skiing in winter at nearby Shiga Kogen and visiting the Snow Monkey Park.

Guests can access Shibu Onsen Kokuya easily with a free shuttle bus from Yudanaka Station, available from 15:00. For sightseeing, notable attractions include Zenkoji Temple and the Hokusai Museum in Obuse, both within a short drive.
